(Grand Forks, ND) - The United States Hockey League, in conjunction with Pointstreak and Cardinal Sports Management, is proud to announce the completion of a deal that will revolutionize the league’s statistical management systems.

The partnership, secured with Pointstreak.com Inc., will provide a system designed to meet the specific needs of the professionally-operated Tier I statistics database managed by the USHL. Beginning with the 2002-03 season, USHL statistics will be available for access using Pointstreak.com’s latest product, called Pointstreak PRO, that will result in greater statistical depth and the availability of live, instant game statistic updates on USHL.com. The USHL statistical database will be managed by John Elftmann.

“We believe that our partnership with Pointstreak will enhance not only our own intra-league statistics efforts, but those of scouts, coaches, players and fans everywhere who are interested in our statistics,” said USHL Commissioner Gino Gasparini.

“The USHL is clearly deserving of its recent Tier I status”, said Aaron Bishop, President and CEO of Pointstreak, “By implementing our state-of-the-art electronic scoring system, the USHL is getting a statistical jump on their Canadian counterparts.”

Pointstreak PRO is an advanced version of Pointstreak's "Electronic Gamesheet System" designed to meet the needs of leading professional and semi-professional hockey organizations. Pointstreak's product line also includes solutions for the amateur market. For more information, call toll-free 1-866-734-3585 or visit Pointstreak's website at www.pointstreak.com.
