Pat Watson - Number 35 Position: Goaltender Pat Watson, from Waltham, MA has been added to the Bucs roster and will be in uniform for tonight’s (New Year's eve) game versus the River City Lancers. Watson’s first game with Des Moines was last Sunday, December 28th against the USHL East Division leading Cedar Rapids RoughRiders. The Buc’s new netminder held the ‘Riders scoreless for the first fifty-eight minutes of the game and picked up his first USHL victory, 4-1. He stopped thirty-six of Cedar Rapids’ thirty-seven shots. Watson had been playing for the Valley Junior Warriors of the Eastern Junior Hockey League, and has committed to Merrimack College, where he will begin playing in 2005. He will get his second start in tonight’s game. |
