The Des Moines Buccaneers, who were clobbered, 17-6, Wednesday night at Dubuque, have an opportunity to gain 8 points in the USHL standings during 3 weekend games. The drive starts at 7:30 tonight against St. Paul at the Ice Arena.
Two points are awarded for victories, but since St. Paul used an ineligible player when the Vulcans beat Des Moines, 10-8, January 18 in St. Paul, league officials nullified the victory and ruled that that tonight's game would be worth 4 points to the winner.
