Kevin Kasel: Tell me about your family life, do you have any brothers or sisters?

Denny Reagan: Yeah, I have a younger brother. He is 15. That's my only brother and he is a hockey player as well. He came up here and would like to be a member here too.

Kevin: How old where you when you started playing hockey?

Denny: I have to say, six or seven years old.

Kevin: Why did you start?

Denny: I started because a couple neighbors down the street were playing. And I tried one day and picked it up and loved it ever since.

Kevin: Why did you decide to play for the Bucs?

Denny: Good team with a winning history. Just a good reputation.

Kevin: Have you always been a forward?

Denny: Yes, I have.

Kevin: Tell me about the past teams you've played for.

Denny: I started out when I was 16, my first year of Juniors was in St. Louis, my hometown. I played for the St. Louis Sting, played for a good coach, Rick Zambo, and developed my skills a lot.

When I was 17, I started out with the Sting, then the coach I wanted to play for, Rick Zambo, resigned because the organization was very unstable financially. And I asked to get traded at Christmas time. I went to Springfield of the North American League, finished out the year there. Last year, I played for Springfield the whole year.

Kevin: Is that Springfield, Illinois?

Denny: Yeah, Springfield, Illinois, the (Springfield) Junior Blues.

Kevin: Do you have a nickname?

Denny: No nickname.

Kevin: What is your favorite saying?

Denny: My favorite quote I have to say is, always work hard, you never know who is watching. That's what Rick Zambo taught me, and I use that pretty much everyday.

Kevin: Where would you like to go to college?

Denny: I like to go to school somewhere out east. I like Northeastern, somewhere in Hockey East I would like to go.

Kevin: What are some things you want to do in your life besides hockey?

Denny: I like to get into some kind of business. Not a real hard job, after college if hockey doesn't work out. Wear a suit to work.

Kevin: Finish this sentence: The fans would be surprised to know that I ...

Denny: That's a tough one. That my brother my brother might be playing here in a few years.

Kevin: My first job was ...

Denny: A caddy at a local golf club.

Kevin: What are your hobbies?

Denny: Playing golf, working out. Sitting by the pool in the summertime.

Kevin: What would you consider your dream car?

Denny: I would like some kind of Mercedes. A very nice Mercedes with rims on it, all tinted out.

Kevin: Do you have a favorite movie?

Denny: Varsity Blues, it is a great movie.

Kevin: What's your most embarrassing moment?

Denny: How about my first warm-ups when I was with the St. Louis Sting, when I was 16. I was all ready to go, I stepped out for the warm-ups and my blade guards were on. I fell down in front of the fans in my first warm-up.

Kevin: Who is your favorite non-hockey athlete?

Denny: Tiger Woods.

Kevin: What is your favorite non-hockey sport?

Denny: Golf.

Kevin: If you could have lunch with one person, past or present, who would it be?

Denny: Tiger Woods.

Kevin: If you were a head coach of a team what would you do?

Denny: I focus on a lot of off-ice training, as far as weights and stuff like that for development.

Kevin: What is your favorite food?

Denny: Chicken Parm.

Kevin: Do you have a specific pre-game meal? If so, what is it?

Denny: Yeah, I goto Fazolli's, I get a Fettuccine Alfredo with a salad and some bread sticks. I eat that before every home game.

Kevin: Who has been the biggest influence on your life?

Denny: My Dad.

Kevin: What is your favorite TV show/book?

Denny: My favorite TV show, probably NHL Tonight. Then favorite book, I haven't read many books in a while. I have to go with A Tale of Two Cities. Marty Guerin is actually reading that on the bus now.

Kevin: If you started your own NHL franchise, and you could pick any player, who would you start with and why?

Denny: I would have to say Steve Yzerman. Just because of his leadership and he makes players work harder, by watching him.

Kevin: Who would you have on your hockey "Dream Team"?

Denny: I started off with Keith Tkachuk on the left-wing, he's with the Blues now. For center men, I like Steve Yzerman for center men. On the right side I'd probably say, Brett Hull. Defense, Al Macinnis and Ray Borque.

Kevin: If you were stranded on a desert island, whom would you want to be stranded with … Brittany Spears, Cameron Diaz, Sarah Michelle Gellar or Tara Reid?

Denny: I said Brittany Spears for that. Yeah, definitely Brittany Spears.

Kevin: What is your favorite restaurant?

Denny: It is a St. Lois company, called Pasta House, it is out of St. Louis.

Kevin: Who would you rather be, Bugs Bunny or Road Runner?

Denny: I'd say Road Runner.

Kevin: Who would you rather be, Superman or Batman?

Denny: Superman.

Denny: Every time you step on the ice, just work hard.
