WATERLOO, IA - Jim Banaszek scored a goal in each period to spark Waterloo to 7-5 USHL victory over Des Moines Sunday.
Waterloo took a 4-1 lead in the first period, but Des Moines closed to within 5-4 in the second on goals by Myles Hart, Jeff Ulrich and Tom Miller.
Then Banazcek completed his hat trick in the third period, as did the Buccaneer's Hart.
