Winning all the Championships
Welcome to the 1994-95 Des Moines Buccaneers home page, home of the Triple Crown Champions! The Bucs won them all this season: The preseason Buc Bowl, the Anderson Cup (regular season championship), the Clark Cup (playoff championship), and Gold Cup (national championship).

A Year of Awards
Besides winning all of the tournaments, the Bucs were also awarded the USHL Franchise of the Year, and coach Bob Ferguson was awarded the USHL Coach of the Year. Coach Ferguson, in his fifth year with the Bucs guided the team to a 53-7-5 overall record

The USHL All Star squad included the following Buccaneers: Marc Magliarditi, Brad Timmons, Bryce Macken, Ryan Bencurik, Reggie Berg, Ethan Philpott, Mike Nooyen, Craig Hagkull, Bobby Davis, and Brad Frataroli.

College Scholarships... and Beyond
The Bucs continues the tradition of developing players for college and professional hockey, sending 17 players on to college hockey. Buccaneers receiving scholarships: Ryan Bencurick, Reggie Berg, Geoff Bennetts, Dan Davies, Bobby Davis, Brad Frattaroli, Woody Glines, Craig Hagkull, Todd Kidd, Mark Loeding, Bryce Macken, Marc Magliarditi, Ethan Philpott, Joe Provenzano, Trecor Rosen, Ken Sergott, and Brad Timmons. After college many of these players went on to play professional hockey.
