Alex comes to Des Moines from Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, where he played for the Soo Indians Jr. A hockey team, of the North American Hockey League. Alex says that people might not guess that he plays the guitar or that he loves kids! His pet peeve is people who flip through the channels while watching television. Alex left the team in January.
