Player Biography

Kelly is another veteran on the team this year . . . last year, he racked up 15 goals and 17 assists for Des Moines, and was voted the fans’ favorite player. He says that his most embarrassing moment occurred when he went out on the ice with his skate guards still on. Kelly’s future plans include traveling overseas to “see the world” . . . he also wants to continue to play hockey for as long as possible. Kelly hails from Toledo, Ohio. Kelly was traded to Cleveland of the NAHL in October, 1999.
