Pre Season Nears
New Assistant Coach Announced

It's an exciting week for hockey fans in Des Moines. This week kicks off the 24th season for the Buccaneers in Des Moines. With many changes in the Buccaneers organization, we are thrilled to announce practice starts for the Des Moines Buccaneers on September 2nd. Practices begin at 2pm and will be open to the public. The coaches and players will be working hard to make the upcoming season unforgettable.

Pre-season games begin on September 5th, with the first home game on September 6th against the Cedar Rapids Roughriders. Pre-season tickets are just $5.00, except for Buc Bowl games, and may be purchased by calling 515-278-9757.

With the start of the 2003-2004 season we welcome back Reggie Simon to the Des Moines Buccaneers. Reggie played on the 1994-1995 Bucs National Championship Team. Following his Bucs career Reggie played for the University of Alaska, Anchorage. Reggie will be joining Bob Ferguson on the bench as the new assistant coach for the Des Moines Buccaneers.
