May Verbally Commits to Denver

Des Moines Buccaneers player Tom May, a 6’3" forward from Eagan, MN has verbally accepted a scholarship to play collegiate hockey for the University of Denver Pioneers for the 2004-05 season.

May, who is in his first season with the Buccaneers, has scored two goals and registered two assists in the Bucs first seven games this season. He will be able to sign a national letter of intent to play with the Pioneers when the fall signing period begins on November 10th.

Denver is undefeated (4-0-0) this season, and is currently ranked seventh in the USCHO Division I Men’s Hockey Poll. May will join former Des Moines Buccaneer Brett Skinner on the Pioneer roster.
