Two Former Bucs to Return to Des Moines with National Champs

The University of Minnesota men’s hockey team will be practicing at the Metro Ice Sports Arena on Thursday, October 9th at 1:15pm. The Gophers are two-time defending national champions and are currently ranked number one in the country in both the USA Today/American Hockey Magazine and USCHO polls.

Practicing with the Gophers will be two former Des Moines Buccaneers, forwards Jerrid Reinholz and Troy Riddle. Prior to being teammates with the Gophers, the two played together on the 1999-2000 Bucs team. Reinholz was also a member of the 1998-99 Clark Cup Championship team in Des Moines.

Fans and members of the media are welcome to come watch Reinholz, Riddle, and the rest of the two-time defending champion Gophers. The practice will begin at 1:15 and will last until approximately 2:30, followed by the Des Moines Buccaneers practice.
