Steve designed and went live with the Buccaneer web site in 1995 as an un-official fan-operated site - the first USHL team to have a web site. Buccaneer president Ellis Moose saw the value of having a web presence, and authorized him to make it official for the 1996-97 season.

The site truly is a family affair as his son James did much of the initial programming and Sarah his daughter writes the edgey "Sarah's Rant", game commentaries with an attitude. He credits his wife of 24 years for holding it all together!

When Steve isn't at a Buc game or working on the site, he loves to be with his family, doing whatever they are doing.

Steve works in the Publishing Technology area at Meredith Corporation (Better Homes & Gardens, Ladies Home Journal, etc.) in Des Moines.
