USHL Announces All-Star Game Rosters
League's Best Square-Off In Jan. 26 Contest At Rochester
(Grand Forks, N.D.) - The United States Hockey League announced today the rosters for the 1999 All-Star Game to be played at the Rochester Recreation Center, Rochester, Minn., Jan. 26.
The Des Moines Buccaneers (South) have the most representatives in the USHL with eight. The Green Bay Gamblers (North) have seven players competing in the game and the Omaha Lancers (South) six. Every team is represented in the game.
Green Bay Gamblers' Head Coach Mark Osiecki was named Head Coach the North Team with Rochester Mustangs' Head Coach Mike Aikens serving as Associate Coach. Scott Owens was selected Head Coach of the South Team and Mike Hastings was chosen as Associate Coach. The coaches with the most points after their 30th game of the season were selected as coaches.
Due to the USHL's three-divisions this season, the teams were selected based on last season's North and South divisional format.
